Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

Please note this post is based at Stepping Hill Hospital

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is one of the most highly regarded organisations within the NHS. The trust has a consistent and extremely successful track record in delivering high quality patient services for the populations of Salford, Greater Manchester and beyond, as well as enabling the Trust to become a consistently high performer in a number of NHS league tables. The trust was rated as “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission in 2015, one of only two trusts in the country to receive the accolade.

The Division of Clinical Support Services & Tertiary Medicine is seeking to recruit a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their innovative dermatological team based at Stepping Hill Hospital

Ideally you will have a non-medical prescribing qualification and will have experience of managing dermatology patients on the full range of systemic and biological therapies. Specific experience in acne treatment and monitoring would be an advantage . The ability to manage, develop and support the assessment of dermatology nursing staff to develop new skills will also be necessary

This role is pivotal in providing leadership and support to the nursing workforce and ensuring that the divisional goals and objectives are achieved. The post holders will demonstrate effective, visible clinical and professional leadership for nursing and strive to achieve the Quality and Safety agenda within the organisation. The successful applicant will be a nurse registered nurse  and will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills which enable you to inspire, motivate and influence colleagues at all levels.

You will be supported by the Lead Nurse and the Assistant Director of Nursing.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority  groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups.  Appointment will be based on merit alone.
