Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

This post is designed for candidates with prior stroke medicine experience and will count towards CCT in Stroke Medicine.

You will be an integral part of the Stroke Team at Salford Royal Hospital Trust Comprehensive Stroke Centre which comprises 9 Consultants, registrars, SHO and nurse practitioners. The post will involve inpatient management of acute/hyperacute stroke, stroke rehabilitation and TIA care.

You will participate in on-call with middle grade staff for which a Banding Supplement of 1A is payable. There is the opportunity to pursue a research interest during the post.

The post is temporary for 12 month posts and is recognised training – pre and post CCT - for those on appropriate training programmes.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups. Appointment will be based on merit alone.
