Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dedicated and innovative Band 6 HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our Respiratory Service at Salford Royal Foundation NHS Trust. The Physiotherapy team cover both medical and surgical specialties, including critical care.

The team is led by highly specialist Physiotherapists, supporting a wide skill mix of clinicians within the acute setting. The team is proactive in the development of both staff & service and are committed to CPD providing regular training and education, with a robust appraisal and supervision structure. You will consolidate knowledge and develop clinical and non-clinical skills within this supportive environment, and be actively involved in the development of the acute services, supervision of junior staff & student education.

You should have significant post registration experience across a wide variety of clinical fields, including experience working at a Band 5 level (or above) within the acute medical/surgical setting.

Highly developed communication skills, flexibility, good organisational skills and time management skills are all essential criteria. Good IT skills are also required.

This position includes contribution to the weekend and on-call service.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority  groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups.  Appointment will be based on merit alone.
