Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

The Critical Care Division comprises of a 24 bedded Critical Care Unit and 8 bedded Neuro High Dependency Unit (NHDU).

The Critical Care Unit cares for level 2 & 3 general adult, surgical and trauma patients and the NHDU cares for level 2 neuroscience and trauma patients.

We are looking to recruit talented nurses who have post registration experience and transferable skills. You will be based within Neuro High Dependnacy and will be supported to rotate across Critical Care to gain more expertise in each aspect of nursing. We will encourage qualified nurses to apply who have the following experience:

• experienced critical care / HDU nurses
• experienced Neuroscience nurses
• qualified nurses who have completed a critical care placement
• nurses with surgical experience
• nurses working within an acute hospital

The Critical Care Division is passionate about the quality of the care we deliver to our patients, and we are constantly striving and challenging the care we deliver. We aim to deliver a safe, clean & personal service to our patients every time.

If you are due to qualify we will pay your 1st years NMC registration fee as well as pay you at Band 4 until you receive you NMC PIN.

We can also offer a competitive relocation package (subject to conditions).

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership.
