Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

Would you like to work in a dynamic, motivated and friendly integrated hospital and community dietetic team?

The Salford Dietetic team consists of 32 dietitians and 4 dietetic assistants based at various sites across Salford.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dietitian with at least 18 months post graduate experience to join our team in a rotational post within the dept.

You will be proactive, have good written, verbal and communication skills and be a team player.  This will be an opportunity to work mainly in a variety of settings including acute wards and out patient clinics covering all aspects of dietetic care.

There will be full support and training opportunities provided by the Team lead / Band 7.

The department is a base trainer and takes “C” placement dietetic students each year. We have excellent IT facilities within the department as the Trust has an electronic patient record system (EPR).

Salford Royal is consistently rated as one of the best places to work in the NHS. The Trust is rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC in 2015 and is one of the first integrated providers of hospital, community and primary care services. This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your dietetic clinical and professional skills in a university teaching hospital with integrated community services.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority  groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups.  Appointment will be based on merit alone.
