Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our band 6 rotation, working within Salford Royal Foundation Trust (In-patient and Community rotations).

This post covers 9 monthly rotations in the areas of Major Trauma, Orthopaedics, Emergency Assessment Unit, Stroke, Elderly/Medical, Cardiac/Respiratory, Neurosurgery, Hyper Acute Neuro Rehabilitation and Community Neuro Rehab Team.

We have strong multi-disciplinary led teams and you will be supported by Band 7 Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in the service area.

You should have evidence of post qualification experience, gained whilst working at either, a Band 5 or Band 6 level and evidence of appropriate CPD.

You need to be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience of a broad base of physical conditions.

Excellent communications skills, flexibility, good organisational/time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team are all essential criteria.

You also need to be a car driver.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups. Appointment will be based on merit alone.
