An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within the Division of Surgery for a Specialty Doctor. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with relevant experience to join our high performing and successful team of General Surgeons. The post will include undertaking emergency and elective surgery, leading on outpatient clinics and providing Endoscopic diagnostic activity. JAG accreditation would be desirable however providing Endoscopic lists is not an essential element of the role.

Following the case for change and initiation of Healthier Together models of care, Salford Royal Hospital will become the main hub for high acuity surgical cases across the North West sector. Capital investment will also Salford Royal Hospital build a new state of the art clinical building to safely deliver our services alongside Major Trauma and Stroke. This is an exciting challenge and give you the opportunity to play a key-supporting role in a developing and rapidly growing service. 

Reduction in contractual PA's compared to job description will also be considered.
