Our Diabetes Specialist Nursing Service is expanding and we now have the opportunity for band 6 Nurses with excellent communication and leadership skills to join the Diabetes team.

You will work closely with the Consultants, Clincial Nurse Specialists and other multidisciplinary team members, playing an important role in the delivery of effective care and management of both inpatients and outpatients with diabetes.

You must be able to work autonomously, organise your workload effectively and adapt to, as well as drive change at a local level. You will need to be flexible, as you will be required to work on a sessional basis within the four sites across the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and withitn the integrated community diabetes services based in community locations. You should be an RGN with substantial post registration experience preferably in medicine and diabetes nursing and possess a post basic qualification in diabetes and a recognised teaching qualification.
