A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, innovative and highly specialist Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to lead our established and highly regarded UCCT and IMC Therapy Teams. The position is based at Rochdale Infirmary. The team provides specialist Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to a variety of environments from hospital to community. The post will have managerial responsibilities including PDR and supervision of staff as well as a specialist caseload.

 

Experience in acute medicine and community is essential. You will be committed to delivering evidence based practice and developing your own clinical skills and also those of others. You will be someone who enjoys delivering individual interventions and have the necessary skills to manage a specialist caseload of patients, have the ability to work under pressure and be committed to developing good practice within the teams. The successful post holders will be required to work flexibly to cover a seven day service as required.
