Due to expansion of the Ambulatory Emergency Care Service an exciting opportunity has arisen for Advanced Practitioners from multi professional backgrounds to join our already established team at the Oldham Care Organisation (Royal Oldham Hospital).

The Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit at Oldham is purpose built and closely located to the Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit, SPRINT (frailty) unit and Urgent Primary Care Hub. There is good access to diagnostic facilities and MDT support from our integrated discharge team. We are expanding the service in collaboration with Urgent Care Alliance partners in Oldham providing opportunities to be part of Health and Social Care transformation and Healthier Together developments.

We are looking for experienced, motivated individuals to provide operational and clinical leadership within an acute care setting. It is important that you are able to work autonomously and provide strong leadership, professional advice and clinical expertise enabling the best care, the best environment and best patient’s experience whilst delivering the Trust quality agenda.

We will support you to use your expertise to develop the service and provide excellence in all aspects of Ambulatory Emergency Care. You will receive mentorship from our Consultant team and through the inclusion of an individual learning pathway and clinical supervision by clinical specialists and Lead AP’s.

There is also the potential for this post to incorporate aspects of rotational working across a variety of clinical environments associated with unscheduled care.
