Following the establishment of the Northern Care Alliance Group with Salford Royal Foundation Trust, here at The Pennine Acute NHS Hospitals Trust the path is now clear to really start making a difference with system enhancements and technology adoption across our Care Organisations.

There has already been some exciting opportunities within IT & Digital at the NCA.

In this recruitment we are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Projects Team and take on a range of challenging technical assignments.  These developments are designed to rationalise our systems architecture and to improve patient care, staff productivity and financial performance.

The ideal candidate would have an established career path working towards a Senior Project or Programme Manager role in a large acute setting with experience of working on multiple system deployments and complex business change.  We want somebody who is capable of working in a fast paced environment, working autonomously and managing projects, influencing and negotiating change effectively, handling the whole project life cycle from user requirements to a benefits review on medium sized projects.  At Pennine we favour a Prince2 approach with an emphasis on methodology, structure, deliverables and action. In addition to experience and attitude we would value somebody who can show off their professional qualifications, motivate others to achieve positive outcomes, meet deadlines and objectives, aspires to deliver innovation for supporting a digital future in the NHS.

The job will be based at the team hub on the North Manchester General Hospital site with regular travel to our other hospitals across the GM footprint.
