North Manchester has a culturally rich and diverse population. Working to successfully provide healthcare can be both challenging and very rewarding and our services are developed to meet the needs of the local population.

The District Nursing service has moved into four Neighbourhood Teams (‘One Team’) and are essential to the continued evolving integration agenda. There are many opportunities and exciting developments for the journey through to true integration of Health and Social local services.

We are really excited with progress made in the development of integrated neighbourhood teams and we currently have vacancies for Integrated Team Leaders  which offer excellent opportunities for District Nurses holding the Specialist Qualification in District Nursing to further develop and lead on going integration developments as well as contenting the on going work on quality care, supporting the strong governance structure within the community.
