An enthusiastic and highly motivated Podiatrist is required to join our progressive Community High Risk Foot Team which is part of the Community Podiatry Service. You will work as part of the High Risk Foot Team assessing and treating patients with limb threatening conditions in a variety of community based settings. This position is suitable for a highly skilled podiatrist with experience and knowledge of acute and chronic wound management. A willingness to develop new and existing skills is essential.

Communication and seamless working with the Acute Foot team and other healthcare professionals is fundamental to the role. In addition, the successful applicant will contribute to the development of the High Risk Foot Team and the wider department through evidence based best practice and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The Trust actively encourages in-service and post-graduate training, clinical audit and research. It is expected that prospective candidates will visit the department prior to interview.

You must be able to travel to meet the requirements of this post.
