Are you a Registered Nurse with an interest in specialist stroke care? Would you like to join one of the best Stroke teams in England and enhance and develop your nursing skills?

We are looking to recruit Band 6's to join our friendly, busy team on the Primary Stroke Centre, (PSC) at Fairfield General.

The position would suit an experienced Band 5, with experience in either stroke care or acute medicine or existing Band 6's who wish to further develop themselves. Successful candidates will be supported to develop their knowledge and skills in the care of the acute stroke patient including thrombolysis and thrombectomy care.

Stroke services in at Fairfield General are some of the best in the UK and are comprised of 3 main wards. Ward 5, (PSC) is one of the only 3 primary stroke centres in Greater Manchester specialising in hyper-acute/acute stroke care. This award winning service works closely with A&E to provide one of the fastest door-needle Thrombolysis times in the UK.
