We have a vacancy for an experienced Pharmacist to join our forward thinking, patient focused Clinical Pharmacy service. We welcome applications from motivated and driven Pharmacists with excellent clinical and communication skills. You must be efficient, organised, able to work as a team and autonomously and also be innovative and resourceful. It is an exciting role that will require interaction with a variety of people, including patients, specialist nurses and consultants on a one-to-one basis.

Based primarily at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, and Rochdale Infirmary, this post will provide you with an outstanding breadth of experience in a comprehensive portfolio of specialised areas including: Acute Stroke, Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Care of the Elderly (including Intermediate Care & community services), Elective Surgery, Critical Care, Clinical Trials and Antibiotics.

This position is ideal for a Pharmacist looking to consolidate and develop clinical skills in a dynamic working environment, where knowledge obtained from a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy will be essential. You will work closely with our team of Senior Pharmacists in a supportive environment that encourages growth and career enhancement, both clinically and managerially. We are committed to providing support for education and training to enhance your career, including independent prescribing in relevant posts.

Applications are invited from qualified Pharmacists who have already gained some basic clinical pharmacy experience and who have already obtained, or are working towards, a suitable post-graduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
