Our new Northern Care Alliance NHS Group unites 5 local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

The Alliance provides the benefits of scale but delivers this locally through multiple hospital sites which make up 4 new Care Organizations. Using our mantra of ‘Saving lives, Improving lives’, the aim is for our Care organizations’ to work closely with the communities they serve to deliver safe, high quality and reliable care, which are trusted, connected and pioneering.

Bury and Rochdale Care Organisation is one of four Care organisations within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group.

Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary have come together to create a Care Organisation with a true focus on community based care. Innovative ways of delivering patient centered care used in our award winning Stroke Centre at Fairfield and the pioneering HEATT car service developed at Rochdale demonstrate that this care Organisation is one that provides a unique service for the surrounding population.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Ward Manager within Ward 24 at Fairfield General Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead a team on a twenty four bedded all-male medical and Diabetic/Endocrinology ward that has recently been upgraded and refurbished to a high clinical standard. It’s a space that provides calm and reminiscence therapy to aid recovery and an area that the team is extremely proud of
