An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Junior Sister / Charge Nurse within the Accident and Emergency Department, based at Fairfield General Hospital, part of Pennine Acute NHS Trust.


As a Junior Sister/ Charge Nurse you will be expected to promote the delivery of a high standard of patient centred care in a supported environment. You will already have Accident and Emergency experience and are looking towards your next step.


This post will allow you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, whilst ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients and families.


The successful candidate will help in the day to day running of the department, leading an area, with support from the daily manager. Possessing excellent communication skills are essential for this position as you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team within department and wider hospital setting.


We are looking for someone who will drive and support innovation in nursing care and patient pathways across the department working with our senior team to drive the service forward


The post can be full time or part time and involves full internal rotation to all shift patterns.
